What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. Everything else we store is what you put in yourself: recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry and avoid-list preferences, recipe ratings, and any feedback you submit through Contact Us.

Security & account activity

For account security, we log events like sign-ins, sign-outs, and failed login attempts, along with the IP address they came from. This log is only visible to site administrators and is used to investigate suspicious activity — not for tracking or advertising.

How we use it

Solely to run the app: generating your meal plans and grocery lists, showing you recipes, remembering your preferences, and responding to feedback you send us. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Third parties

We use Google for sign-in — Google's own privacy policy governs what they do with your Google account data. We don't use ad networks or third-party trackers.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your data, your call

You can delete your own recipes and meal plans at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely, or to ask what data we have on file, contact us.

Children

WeekBite isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and adjust the date above.
